Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 October 2026
1. What Natwest is
Natwest is a demonstration banking app. All money in it is simulated. Natwest is not a bank, is not licensed or regulated as a financial institution, and does not hold, receive, send or pay out real money.
Balances, transfers, savings vaults, funding requests and withdrawals have no real monetary value and can’t be exchanged for money. Please do not use Natwest to send or receive real payments.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or over. Accounts are created by a Natwest administrator, who gives you a temporary password. You agree to give accurate information, and to share only details you are comfortable sharing for a demonstration.
3. Your account and security
- Choose your own password the first time you sign in, and set a 4-digit PIN before your first transfer.
- Keep your password, PIN and one-time codes private. Natwest staff will never ask for them, in chat or by email.
- One-time codes are sent to the email address on your account. They expire after 10 minutes and work once.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
4. Transfers and the 24-hour reversal
Once you confirm a transfer with your PIN and code, you can’t cancel it yourself. Because the money is simulated, every transfer is automatically reversed about 24 hours after it is made: the sender is refunded, the amount is taken back from the receiver (a balance never goes below zero), and the transaction is removed from history. Do not treat any transfer as final or rely on it for anything.
5. Restrictions, blocking and deletion
Administrators can restrict an account (you can sign in but not send money), block it (you are signed out straight away), or delete it (your details are erased). They may do this at any time, for example for security reasons or if these terms are broken.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Natwest for anything unlawful, or to mislead anyone into thinking it is a real bank;
- try to break in, probe, overload, scrape or interfere with Natwest or other people’s accounts;
- use another person’s account or details, or upload photos you have no right to use;
- abuse the support chat, or share passwords, PINs or codes in it.
7. Live chat and support
Live chat is provided by tawk.to and only loads if you accept optional cookies. Replies are for general help with the demo and are not financial, legal or tax advice.
8. Availability
Natwest runs on free or low-cost hosting, so it can be slow after a quiet period, restart, or go offline without notice. Data can be reset or lost. There is no guarantee of uptime, backups or that any feature will stay the same.
9. Ownership
The Natwest name, logo, design and software belong to its operator. You may use Natwest for your own personal evaluation, but not copy, resell or present it as your own.
10. No warranties and limits on liability
Natwest is provided “as is”, without promises that it is accurate, secure at all times, or fit for any purpose. Because no real money is involved, we accept no liability for simulated balances or transfers. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here removes rights you have under the law that can’t be excluded.
11. Your data
How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy, including cookies.
12. Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top. If you keep using Natwest after a change, you accept the new terms. You can stop using Natwest at any time and ask an administrator to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator of this demonstration is based, and the courts there can hear disputes, unless the consumer law where you live says otherwise.
